The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) has selected two Osaka City University international exchange programs for its 2012-2013 Student Exchange Support Program (Scholarship for Short-Term Visit / Short-Term Stay Program).

• Mutual student exchange program with St. Petersburg State University (within the existing academic exchange agreement)
• Practical learning in urban studies and writing/debating skills advancement in the UK (joint curriculum building with Oxford University)

The JASSO Student Exchange Support Program gives financial support to students participating in mutual exchange programs of less than three months. The goal of the program is to stimulate the internationalization of universities as well as to nurture human resources with an international perspective.
