Professor Yutaka Amao and his team at RECAP win the OSAKA REBORN Award!

Professor Yutaka Amao and his research team at the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis (RECAP) received the OSAKA REBORN Award in the REBORN Contents Discovery Project.?

 Osaka prefectural and municipal governments have been studying the best way to host the World Expo '2025 with ideas of a pavilion to facilitate participation in exhibitions. Their draft plan called for the creation of exhibitions that will give visitors a sense of life, health, and future, while conveying Osaka's vitality and attractiveness to more people around the world.?

 The main theme of the exhibition is "REBORN", meaning "people can be reborn" and "take a new step forward". The exhibition and events will be held with the aim of creating a deep emotional memory for visitors through experience and co-creation.?

 To bring about this concept and mobilize consideration of specific content for exhibitions and events in the Osaka Pavilion, interested parties were invited to submit proposals for specific content to be realized in 2025.?

 A total of 208 ideas were submitted from 118 organizations, and 8 ideas were selected for the OSAKA REBORN Award. Professor Amao and his team's idea "Experience a future technology for transformation of carbon dioxide into plastic” was one of those selected.?
